Where are you having problems? Is it just this site, or is it Revolution as well?
When you click on the log in link, does a window pop up and ask you for your username and password?
After you enter the username/password, and click the button, what happens next?

It's just here, I'm permanently signed in to Revolution, with no trouble as of yet.
The new window appears, and I enter the details, but the Create Account and Log In area stays the same afterwards, and refreshing doesn't help.
If you're permanently logged into Revolution, then you should be permanently logged in here as well, as it is exactly the same :S Maybe the .ject.pro domain is messing it up somehow.
If you go to http://nds.wikidot.com/thread:3, it will redirect you back here. Are you logged in after doing that?

Nope. I'll try with IE or the DSi, see if there's any difference. Also, I never could get Links4U or the Moderator's private pages to load on Firefox…
I'm signed in automatically on IE.
Strange, I think Firefox had a similar issue before with this…
Well, my Firefox works perfectly fine, so it must be something wrong on your end and not Wikidot's, have no idea what though :S
Maybe try clearing cache (accessed using Ctrl+Shift+Del), or enabling 3rd Party Cookies (somewhere in the settings)

Nothing after purging the cache…I'll keep looking
Well, private sites need third party cookies enabled, or the domain wdfiles.com added to the white list in the browser settings.
But this isn't a private site, so I'm not sure if that is the issue or not. Worth a try.

Any luck? I'll ask the community to look at this, they might have some ideas.

What version of Firefox? I know in older versions, some users had login problems they couldn't resolve and uninstalling FF and reinstalling with the latest version seemed to help. If you're using a PC, I highly recommend installing and running CCleaner's registry cleaner after the uninstall and before the reinstall. You typically have to run it 3-5 times to get all "invalid" registry entries cleaned up.

I'd definitely keep following up on the custom domain issue. Have you set firefox to accept 3rd party cookies yet? In Firefox 3.5 it is under tools -> Option —> privacy tab, then select "use custom settings for history", and there should be a check box for accept 3rd party cookies.
Next, you want to clear all wikidot or cyclods.ject.pro related cookies. On that same tab, choose remember history from the drop down box, and then click on clear individual cookies (or you can clear them all if you don't need any).
Thanks Ed / David :)

I've tried signing in here using FF, works fine. ProtoKun7, try some things…?
Thanks

He tried IE and it worked fine. The problem is that he ususally uses Firefox for everything and it's not working from that browser.
He can sign in fine on other sites I think. He's permanently logged in via Revolution, which should mean he's permanently logged in here too… but for some reason it isn't working that way.

Hehe, solved by changing the cookies :) I thought 3rd party cookies were enabled, but apparently not…I guess it would've been something simple ;)
Thanks for the help anyway guys :)
PS: I had messages recently when signing out of hotmail saying it had trouble, so it must've been a recent change, maybe in the update.
PPS: Oh, and leiger? Do I have the same permissions here as on Revolution or do you deal with everything yourself?
Hmm… so you enabled 3rd Party cookies and that fixed the problem? I thought that it was only a problem with private sites, but I suppose that was just proven wrong… it affects custom domains as well.
I don't think you're even a member of this site — so there's no way for me to have upgraded you yet. Not exactly sure how you could help either as it's so simple… deleting spam when I'm offline maybe, but there's been no spammers here yet and I can easily block their IP if they do come.
